Podiatrist – Julie Exeter (Dip. Pod NZ, BSc (Hons) UK)
Hi, I’m Julie. For the last 20 years, I have been working as a podiatrist in Napier, Hawke’s Bay in my own practice together with my husband David, who is also a podiatrist. In the past I have enjoyed treating a broad range of foot problems but now tend to focus more on nail and skin issues and diabetic footcare and its complications. Travel is something I enjoy and combine it with cycling and caravaning when possible. I am also a keen gardener and love being outside growing whatever I can. <more>
Senior Podiatrist – Chris Park (BSc Hons Podiatry)
With a background in Sports Coaching and development, Podiatry was a fantastic profession to pursue in continuing my learning of the human body. <more>
What is a Podiatrist?
A Podiatrist is an allied medical professional who takes care of your feet, ankles, and lower legs. They’re not doctors but specialists for your feet and can help with various foot-related issues, such as treating injuries, any toenail and skins problems, diagnosing and managing foot conditions and prescribing orthotics (3D printed) if clinically appropriate.
So, if you have pain or problems with your feet or lower limbs, a Podiatrist is the person to see. Our Podiatrists will be able to confirm a diagnosis and provide you with a treatment plan that will get you back doing the things you love.
