Podiatrist – Lauren McKenzie (BHSc Podiatry)
I’m Lauren McKenzie, a dedicated podiatrist based in central Auckland. My journey into podiatry was inspired by my lifelong passion for sports and my personal experiences with injuries. As a football goalkeeper and former tennis and cricket player, I’ve had my fair share of physical challenges. This background fuels my commitment to creating personalised rehabilitation plans, helping my patients get back to their favourite activities and seeing them regain their mobility and happiness. <more>
What is a Podiatrist?
A Podiatrist is an allied medical professional who takes care of your feet, ankles, and lower legs. They’re not doctors but specialists for your feet and can help with various foot-related issues, such as treating injuries, any toenail and skins problems, diagnosing and managing foot conditions and prescribing orthotics (3D printed) if clinically appropriate.
